Hunting Creek is one of the largest, and earliest developments within Prospect and the Hunting Creek Partridge has been incorporated into the Prospect City Seal. Accessible from US Highway 42, The Estates of Hunting Creek is just outside the Metro Louisville area.
The Estates of Hunting Creek is the prestigious estate neighborhood of Hunting Creek and the Estates section Homeowners Association is a deed restricted neighborhood consisting of 228 single family homes. The Estates HOA is governed by a five member Board of Directors, each of who serves a two-year term. Association Dues are collected on an Annual Basis in January of each year.
The Estates HOA does not have its own recreational amenities, however, most homeowners take advantage of the close proximity of the Hunting Creek Country Club which offers a 18-hole golf course, 6 clay tennis courts, 1 hard tennis court, an Olympic size swimming pool and a clubhouse with several rooms for fine dining; the St. Andrews Room Augusta Hall and the Pinehurst Grille.
The City of Prospect provides Fire and Police protection and many other city services to the Homeowners of the Estates section.
Schools close to Hunting Creek include Chance School, St. Francis School, Kentucky Country Day School, Harmony Elementary and Goshen at Hillcrest Elementary School.
